Hale's NFL Picks
Playoffs Round 1 in Review
Another big week for Hale's picks, as both of his Best Picks won,
making them an amazing 9-2 in the last 3 weeks.
Those of you who got all of Hale's picks in email know that he
went 5-2 overall this week.
The second round starts Saturday. Will you get the winning picks
with tons of analysis, trends, angles and statistics?
Hale's Picks for Week 19
- San Fran/Green Bay UNDER 52
- Chiefs - 8:Just *how* good are these Chiefs?
They're undefeated at home, yet
they seem to get no respect. This might be because they failed to cover
against some teams (Pats, Oilers) in Arrowhead when laying around a
touchdown, and the Oilers are somewhat similar to these unpredictable
Colts. (Did Hale read it right where KC held Seattle to less than 100
yards TOTAL offense 2 weeks ago at home?) Clearly, all the trends
seem to be going KC's way: they're over 70% ATS when favored
against an opponent who's just won (even higher at home), and over
75% ATS when playing a so-so team, statistically. Indianapolis, OTOH,
is gets over-valued when they've just won and/or covered (around 25%
ATS the next game). In fact, when the Colts are on the road after just
covering, they're 1-8 ATS (0-3 this season). The Chiefs' defense is #1 or
#2 in the NFL in most significant categories, and should keep Indy away
from the end zone. The KC defense is keeping opponents' scores way
down (9 points per game over the last 4), and should easily manhandle
the over-rated and spent Colts.
