Last week was the first time the Best Bets didn't produce winners since Week 3, thanks to that blocked Del Greco kick. Wah. Still cannot complain, though, since overall they're still strong.

• Washington - 10.5
  Maybe Buddy Ryan wasn't so bad after all. His former team has lost to both the Jets AND Giants, which is no easy feat. Now, they face the surprising (over-rated?) Redskins, who're probably the worst team with 7 wins in the NFL. But you know something? This bunch of Cardinal louts ain't gonna test the 'Skins, and their surging offense. Against the teams they both played this season, Washington has won by an average of 11 points, while Arizona has lost by an average of 11, which makes for a cozy 22-point cushion. When the Cards take it to the road, they can only muster an average of 10 points (6 points if you don't count the victory over the lowly Saints). Hale's only concern is whether the Redskins can get up and stay focussed for this game, with the Eagles and 49ers right around the corner. They should dispatch with Arizona's low-scoring (#29 in NFL) O in comfy fashion.
