DENVER - 13.5 This seems like a lot of points against a team that's
got the #1 defense in many
categories. While the Miami defense matches up well with the superb Denver offense, it's
when Miami has the ball when the Dolphins are in trouble. They'll be facing a defensive
line that is #4 in sack yards, and #6 against the run. They're going to force Marino to
over-rely on his passing game. Will it be enough? Denver is great at home against the
spread (14-7 after a win), while
Miami is 5-10 roaddogs. Where both teams just barely covered/missed the spread, the
roaddogs is 9-23 the next game. Miami stayed within two TDs at NYJets (20-9 loss), but got
blown out at Atlanta (38-16 loss). Could it happen again? Uh, yes.
