Go

All I knew about this going in was its "Pulp Fiction for Generation X" tagline.

What a story that is unraveled!  You may be ashamed to like the film, but you will.  It's got good dialogue, a good story, good acting and some good music (assuming you can tolerate some industrial rave).

You watch in amazement as things go from bad to worse for some of the characters in the film.  You laugh at their plight, happy that you're not in their shoes, and just wondering what tragedy is going to befall them next.

The story is told through a few of the characters' eyes (ever see "He Said, She Said"?).  Things are not as they appear, as each new part of the story is told (ever find a drug dealer remotely likeable?).  The laughs are subtle and sometimes dark, and the word "go" is used cleverly and prominently in each of the vignettes.

The question has come up: what did you like better, this or Matrix?   You know.. they are VERY different films, but if I had to come down one way or the other, I'd probably go with Go.  But see them both and decide for yourself.
